T-Mobile’s Android Samsung Galaxy S (SGS) – Meet The “Vibrant” – Launching in the US on July 21

by admin on July 4, 2010

Update: CONFIRMED! T-Mobile USA will announce its version of the SGS on June 27-28th. T-Mobile will call it the “Vibrant.” It will launch in July, predicted date July 21, 2010. T-Mobile has a clue game going where you are supposed to guess an important announcement. Here is the solved puzzle: www.bullpooper.com and the clue webpage: t-mobileclue.com The SGS Vibrant will be an Android-based 2.1 superphone and Samsung will update the phone to Android 2.2, Froyo. Also see in here where the phone is called the “Supersonic.” Will that be the name or is that an internal designation? Sidenote: AT&T announced its version last week, it will be called the “Captivate.” No details on launch date were provided. I don’t like those names so I am declaring that the T-Mobile version will be the “Vibrator” and AT&T’s the “Constipate.” This is the famous video preview of the Samsung Galaxy S (SGS) by Howard Chiu of Howard’s Forums, that was once up, but he took it down. Was it because T-Mobile is not ready to spill the beans on this exciting phone? Maybe he did not like his work and is planning a redo? I don’t know why, but he did an excellent job so I am glad to be able to show it to you here. Look carefully and you will see convincing evidence that this is T-Mobile’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S. (There’s T-Mobile applications, the T-Mobile logo and Samsung’s model name conventions for phones going to T-Mobile. See in the “About” screen where it says SGH-T959.) My prediction is a July
